Hoover City Schools

Hoover City Schools is hosting Multilingual Registration Support Days to assist families with registration for the 2026–2027 school year. If you need help completing registration due to a language barrier and/or limited technology access, our team is here to support you.

Dates & Locations:

• April 28 – 9:00–11:00 a.m. at Green Valley Elementary School
• April 28 – 1:00–3:00 p.m. at Bumpus Middle School
• April 30 – 9:00–11:00 a.m. at Shades Mountain Elementary School

Families will receive in-person registration assistance in the following languages: English, Spanish, Arabic, Vietnamese, and Chinese.
If you require assistance in a language not listed above, please email Dtinker@hoover.k12.al.us in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Please bring the following required documents:

• Parent/Guardian photo ID
• Student’s certified birth certificate
• Student’s Social Security card (if available)
• Current Alabama Immunization Record (Blue Card)
• Two proofs of residency (such as a current utility bill and lease/mortgage statement)
• Custody documentation (if applicable)
