Hoover City Council Appoints New School Board Member

19 April 2021

HCS- At Monday night's Hoover City Council Meeting, the council appointed Alan Paquette to the Hoover Board of Education.

A father of two children in the Hoover City School system, Paquette wants to advocate for all students.

Paquette is looking forward to serving on the board of education, and he wants to help take the system to even greater heights.

"I think the future is bright because we have very talented people all around us," Paquette said. "When we unleash them and allow them to use their talents, I think the sky is the limit."

Paquette has lived in Hoover for nearly 30 years, and he will begin his five-year term on the board in June, replacing Deanna Bamman.
