(HHS) - The long-awaited new band facility for Hoover High School officially opened on Tuesday, December 11th. A midday ribbon-cutting ceremony complete with music from the Hoover High School Symphonic Winds Band helped usher in the new era for the Hoover High School Band Program.
Director of Bands Ryan Fitchpatrick was joined by school principal Don Hulin, Superintendent Dr. Kathy Murphy, and Board of Education members as the ribbon was cut.
The multi-million dollar facility gives much needed new space to one of Alabama's largest and award-winning band programs - K12 or collegiate.
