If you are looking to enroll your child in Hoover City Schools, please keep in mind the following requirements when enrolling a student at the school you are zoned for:
- Proof of residency (either a lease or recorded deed)
- Current utility bill (water, power, or gas)
- Birth certificate
- Social Security card (voluntary)
- State of Alabama ImmPrint Immunization Record
- Withdrawal form from the previous school
- A valid photo ID. i.e. Passport, Driver's License, government-issued ID (Parent/Guardian)
- Custody documents, if applicable

Hoover City Schools requires all students to complete online registration each school year through the registration platform, PowerSchool Enrollment. This platform allows us to securely collect, verify, and store student data in our student information system.
New Student Registration 2021-2022
Do not complete the New Student Registration form if your student completed the 2020-2021 academic year with Hoover City Schools.
If you are registering a new student to attend Hoover City Schools beginning in the 2021-2022 academic year, please click the appropriate link below to complete the PowerSchool Enrollment form.
Returning Student Registration 2021-2022
Returning student registration for the 2021-2022 academic year will begin on June 21, 2021. If your student is currently enrolled at the end of the 2020-2021 academic year, you will receive an email containing a link directly to your student(s) PowerSchool Enrollment form where you can update the information we have on file for your student.
