To apply for any position, you must have a current application on ALSDE Applicant Tracking Enterprise and apply for relevant jobs.  HCS posts certified, classified, and administrative positions:

    • Administrative Positions are certified positions such as a principal, assistant principal, or other similar position.

    • Certified Positions

    • Certified positions are jobs that require teacher certification (examples include teachers, counselors, therapists, etc).  If you are applying for a certified position, make sure to include a copy of your college transcripts and your current resume to your application on  Applicant Tracking Enterprise.

    • Classified Positions

    • Classified positions are jobs that do not require a teaching certificate.  Examples include maintenance, child nutrition, clerical, support aides, bus drivers, substitute teachers, and other support staff. To apply for these positions, complete your application on Applicant Tracking Enterprise  and apply for relevant job postings.

    Current Employees

    Current employees who are interested in applying for various postings should follow the directions above.  

    If an administrator or supervisor requests to interview an applicant, they will contact the applicant directly.  If an applicant is recommended for hire, other documentation may be required including original transcripts, proper identification, Social Security Card, and proof of background clearance.
