New Student Enrollment Packets
We would like to welcome our new families to the Greystone family. We are so excited that your child will be joining us for the 2020 - 2021 school year.
If you have not completed the online pre-registration form, please go ahead and do that. Click here for the form.
There is a paper enrollment packet that also needs to be filled out and documents that you need to provide. See below for instructions for this packet.
The documents needed for enrollment may be turned into the school in two ways:
Copies of the documents, along with any completed forms, may be dropped off at Greystone Elementary (beginning May 4th) on Mondays between 7:00 am - 8:30 am and Thursdays between 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. Please put all copies of documents and forms in a gallon size ziploc bag labeled with the student’s name. Drive up to the front doors from the left (so that the driver is on the school side) and you will see a white box to drop your papers. A staff member will be monitoring and will retrieve the bag from the box.
You can mail copies of the documents and the completed forms to Greystone Elementary, 300 Village Street, Hoover, AL 35242.
These documents, except where noted, are required before your child can start school. When/if the governor relaxes the shelter in place order, hours and days for drop off may increase.
1. Proof of residency (either a lease or recorded deed)
2. Current utility bill (water, power or gas)
3. Birth certificate
4. Social Security card (voluntary)
5. State of Alabama ImmPrint Immunization Record
6. Custody documents, if applicable
The paper registration packet is linked below and is also available at the school on Mondays between 7:00 am - 8:30 am and Thursdays between 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. Just pull up like you were dropping off and request a packet. These packets may be returned on subsequent Mondays or Thursdays at the same time.

Complete this packet and return it to the GSES front office along with the required documents above.
Hoover City Schools also has an online registration process that happens after your child has been enrolled (turned in forms and documents). You will receive an email over the summer with instructions on completing the online process.
