• Chromebook Repairs:

    BEFORE you consider bringing your Chromebook up to the school for repair, please keep in mind a few important details:

    1. The Chromebook repair process will take longer than usual due to the precautions Hoover staff will take to stay safe. This includes a quarantine time period before we pass it off to the technician and an additional quarantine time period once it is received by the technician.

    2. Only critical repairs will be processed at this time (as in, the Chromebook doesn't work and learning can't take place). Unnecessary or non-critical repairs will be sent back to BPES and returned to the student.

    3. In order to process a Chromebook repair, you must complete this form first.

    4. You may be able to fix some Chromebook problems yourself! Please view this document and possibly save yourself a trip and a week or more of downtime!

    If you must bring your child's Chromebook up to the school, please email Mrs. Bayko (cbayko@hoover.k12.al.us) to set-up a time to drop off the device. For your health and well-being as well as that of BPES staff, we have a contactless drop off process planned. You will be given access to the front lobby where a box will be located for you to drop off the device. Please make sure to remove the device from the case before bringing it to school. Once the device is returned to the school, you will be contacted via email to schedule a pick-up time. Please ONLY arrange this if absolutely necessary.
