28-Aug-17 (SMS) - John Croyle, founder of Big Oak Ranch spoke to our students today. He brought some tough, but important, lesson to our kids. Here are some highlights from his message:

1. Choices create circumstances decisions determine your future.

2. Do you know who you are? (how well do you know yourself and how honest with yourself will you be)

3. Do you know what you are? (what are you about, what do you believe in and stand for)

4. What's the fruit of who you are and what you are? (What will your legacy be)

5. If you had one year left to live, how would you live it?

6. If someone close to you had one year to live how would you treat that person?

7. There will be a ripple effect of the life you live. Create positive ripples.

8. No one knows their future, but you can live a life that makes a difference in the lives of others.

9. Everybody's got a story. Consider what others may be dealing with as you talk to them today.

10. Target what it takes to be a great person in life. Find out those things that great people do, and set your sights on those things.

11. If you aim at nothing, you will hit it every time.

12. You were designed to do great things.

“A hundred years from now it will not matter what kind of house we lived in, the kind of car we drove or how much money we had in the bank, but the world may be different because you and I were important in the life of a child.”

John’s philosophy is:  “A hundred years from now it will not matter what kind of house we lived in, the kind of car we drove or how much money we had in the bank, but the world may be different because you and I were important in the life of a child."

“Here is a guy who found out early in life what he was put on earth to do.”
